Missions
Trips
If your
church, school, club or organization is interested in organizing a missions
trip to Maison de Lumiere we would love to help you get a trip organized.
We can work with you from the ground up to put together a life-changing
visit that impacts your team for years to come.
We can
work with you on everything from, flights, transportation, housing,
safe meals, translators and all aspects of your visit.

Mission
trips offer a wide variety of opportunities, including:
Evangelism
- You will have the opportunity to visit the kids in our home as well
as kids on the streets in Haiti and in other orphanages. Special trips
may be offered so that you can share God's Word with people in other
parts of Haiti. If a music crusade or film crusade is planned you can
also join us at those events.
Construction - As we build and expand Maison de Lumiere we will
always have a need for construction assistance. This will include laying
block, shoveling, pouring cement, laying foundation, etc. Carpenters
and plumbers are greatly needed.
Paint - We always have things that needed to be painted
Medical/Dental - We can always use doctors, nurses and dentists
as well as those who have access to medical resources to help our kids
and others in the community. We can also arrange examination/treatment
programs to minister to those in the region.
VBS/Camp program - These can be taught at our home or we can
provide opportunities at schools, churches or in nearby villages.
Sports Camp - The children love to play soccer and basketball!
You can teach them how to be a team player.
School - We have a school that meets 5 days a week! If you have
any small crafts or would just like to present a special program, please
let us know. They would love to have you share with them.
Outreaches - We can hold a revival with praise and worship at
our facility. If you would like to hold a conference or seminar we would
love to help out.
Teach Mothers - While conducting a VBS program, we can also offer
something special for mothers in the region. We can teach them basic
concepts about parenting and being a strong Christian parent in their
household.
Devotions - We have devotionals every morning and every night.
This can be sharing a favorite scripture or telling about how something
on this trip has already changed you in some way. We will have a sign-up
sheet in Haiti and you can sign up for any night or day you want. We
also need people to help with devotions for our kids at Maison de Lumiere!
Please feel free to help us lead those.
Feeding Program - This program helps feed children in Cite Solie
who are struggling to live every day due to lack of nourishment.
Special Talent - Let us know about it! We will find a way to
plug you in!
